The " we talk network " is a network build on community sites that share a single userbase. All our sites have a single login, and have a recognizable theme. As a result you know exactly where you are and where to find what on the site.

We invite our visitors to browse around and find a topic they like and once they're comfortable with the site they are free to register. Once registered, a user can switch between topics (communities) without having to register again.

We started September 2007 with "wetalktv.net' as our first topic (see description below). We Talk TV Network was the first thought, and luckily we talk . tv as domain was free. It's our main domain at the moment. And over time we have added more communties as a vertical to our network, tv, movies, and books in 2008, and soon games and music to follow in 2009. Future topics could be web, celebs, health, sports, etc.

The benefit of one community is that if you're kinda tired of one topic, say, because there's nothing on tv, you can switch to movies, or music, or whatever. And your same friends, and perhaps even new ones, are there. Members are not bombarded with 5 newsletters if they sign up on 5 sites, it's one network, so one newsletter. Using smart modern cache technologies the javascripts, images and other data is server side and client side cached, making browsing our network a smooth experience for everybody.

http://wetalkbooks.net/ was originally a stand alone community for beginning and experienced writers that needed an outlet, a hangout, where they could express themselves, meet other writers and gets friendly reviews of work in progress; back in 2004. The turnkey community was offered to the wetalk network October 2008 as the previous owner was looking for new venues. October 2008 we imported the userbase and merged the content with our network as a restart under wetalkbooks.net - the Writers Hangout; A community with flash fiction to novels, fantasy to journalism, beginners to Stephen King. Communicate and share your ideas with other like-minded writers. Interested in writing, or reading poems, interviews with amateur to professional writers, guides and events, wetalkbooks.net is the place to offer you all that, in a centralized location for you and your friends.
