TV blu-ray releases

blu-ray TV episode releases have begun to hit the shelves.
In late July Robin hood was released as a TV blu-ray.
This was a hallmark release, it was of course high definition, and happen to be season one of Robin hood.
The suggested retail price was $99.99 - USD
Expect many more TV releases in the near future, all are expected to be high definition.

I'm not much into the Robin Hood series but I don't mind having my favorite shows on hi-def. Still, I can't really enjoy them much though without a good wide TV. I believe the first two seasons of Heroes are coming out too on blu-ray. Might be a good present for a Heroes friend of mine.Posted August 27th, 2008 at 02:22 PM by Froix

Bluray over DVDs. It's like when VHS first came out and people were still in love with Beta. I can still get hi def on DVD and I'm not about to dish out 99.99 for a season show. I'll wait it out.Posted August 28th, 2008 at 10:02 AM by Mira

Hmmm...$100 on Bluray? I don't know. Firstly, to REALLY enjoy it, you'll need a hi-def TV first, I don't know about the player. Not all people have hi-def. While it's good, it's too expensive for my taste. Anyway, maybe I'll enjoy in about 2 years or so, when the prices go down.Posted August 28th, 2008 at 10:33 AM by bartimaeus13
