[Site Owner]
Once in a while we send out a newsletter and we get the feedback from a member that they never signed up on wetalknation.net or vbfans.com - and while that might be correct, we're a network and merged other sites into this one. Maybe that explains how your account ended up here.

All the sites we have merged, are owned by Christopher and/or Floris.
And all the sites we've acquired were owned by others, but now merged into the network.

creations.nl, vbulletin.nl, vbulletin-fans.com, omgboards.com, talkmozilla.com, talkbanners.com, wetalk.tv, wetalkmovies.net, wetalkgames.net, wetalksports.net, wetalkanime.net, wetalkbooks.net, wetalkmusic.net, thenewtech.com, nintendodistrict.com, writershangout.com, vbulletin-tutorials.com, vbulletin-styles.com, vbulletin-languages.com, vbulletin-setup.com, vbulletin-css.com, everythingvb.com, vbulletintips.com, and many others.

Instead of having to sign up on all these sites, getting 15+ newsletters, etc. You only have to sign up once. And your merged accounts still work. You get one newsletter. And your login works on all the sites.

Note that some urls no longer work, or are an alias to their new end point. For example, the writershangout.com now goes to wetalkbooks.net and nintendodistrict.com goes to wetalkgames.net

So yes, while you might not have signed up on one of the communities, you might have on one of the others. Every time we merge a community we inform those members that the site is under new ownership and allow them to opt-out and request to have their account deleted. (We never delete content. So posts will show under your old name as a 'guest'. - we usually also never delete accounts, unless it's this specific ownership change situation).

If you really never have signed up, you're always free to request your account to be deleted. This is especially possible if you have 0 posts.
