I am writing to you now to let you know that TRF is about to fall under new ownership. This has been a step I have been trying to avoid for almost a year now, but time has finally fun out for me- I have to sell the place. Additionally, I cannot be here for you all in the capacity I truly need to be.

However, I know the soon-to-be new owner, and he is an outstanding guy. I really think TRF could use an admin like him at the helm. I think good things will come of this.

To all of you, with my sincerest love and respect, I thank you for your time and effort spent into making TRF an awesome place to hang out. You have truly impacted my life, and I will always hold our time here dear to me. I love you all, and will miss you.

Ki, it has been an honour bro, you were and still are a great leader. You've done a fantastic job taking this forum from invision free boards to this, it was a giant leap but you were prepared to take it and you succeeded with flying colours.

For a good couple of years The Rogue has stood as a place that all can come and hang out and be at peace with one another. We've all had great times here, got to know old faces a lot better and got to know many new faces. You've made this forum with your bare hands and you deserve all the plaudits for your hard work.

I know that this is not the end but it does certainly feel like it, I'm sure I'll be seeing you in TOR and also in the forums too.

The end of an era, all hail the 1st Emperor of The Rogue, Emperor Kius!

(Just to make myself clear I hope that we don't have many Emperors in the future lol)

Can't say this came as a surprise. Sad to say this, but I think it's for the best. Ki, your personal life comes first, and TRF is too big of a responsibility to juggle with the kind of stuff you're dealing with IRL, on top of trying to manage FOTOR and whatever else you may have on your plate.

As Digz said, it's been an honor working with you these past four years. You, along with everyone else here, built this place up to what it was in the glory days, and it truly became a second home, albeit a virtual one. Too bad it's begun to decline (through no fault of your own, of course. just when it rains, it pours), but here's hoping the new owner will be able to pull it of its rut.

If you don't pop in any more, then I'll be sure to see you on MSN or FOTOR when you're able to spend more time online. Good luck man, and godspeed.

Thanks, guiz. This isn't "goodbye," lol. It's more of "things are changing." TRF will live on, just under a new driver- Floris. He actually designed many of the things we use here- he used to work on vBulletin, and made a crapload of mods we use/used. He's a good guy, and takes care of his forums. I wouldn't turn you guys over to someone who I didn't think would not take care of place. TRF is in good hands, I assure you

And, again, this isn't final yet. I just want to keep you guiz in on the loop. Always have, always will.

And yeah, I will more than likely be spending the majority of my time on FOTOR when I am online, but that's not to say I will not drop in from time to time to check on my Rogues. No matter who the owner may be, I will always consider you peoples My Rogues

Sorry for the confusion, but this night we have been transferring ownership over from Ki to Floris, making therogueforums.com part of the wetalk network.

The content is not yet public, but the accounts, threads, posts, forums are imported. At this point if you have questions feel free to contact us on contact at wetalknation dot net.

This announcement will be updated if we have more information, which should be on the 14th of May, 2010.

Welcome new members, and please allow us a bit of time to write up a full announcement, work on the setup of the content, and update the domain name to our network. And of course, keep an eye on your inbox, all trf members will get an email with their account details.

First of all, my name is Floris, I am 33 years old, from the Netherlands, and together with the current team we're building a network of community sites. We cover televion-, movies-, games-, offtopic-, tech-, and many other topics. And we're doing this in a unique way. We have various sites under one network, and a member can browse all sites, and login to all the sites with their account.

Ki has been working hard on his community in the last 5+ years and cares for a community as much as we do here at wetalk. Therefor after hearing that Ki had to take a step back it was a perfect fit for us. We offered Ki the option to consider moving the community under the wetalk.network umbrella. Helping us grow, but also helping TRF community grow, and live on. Be it under new ownership.

And that's what has happened. And I am sure the new network, new situation, new domains might all be overwhelming, and cluttered, but please allow us time to organize it all. In the next few hours, days and weeks we will make more of the imported content public, organize it as logical as possible. And we will listen to constructive feedback from the community members and try to do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible for everybody. We're not a big company that looks at users as data points, we're a hobby site and care about our community. We want the same thing; having a great place to post, find good conversations, and make new friends. Having fun.

All the accounts have been transferred over, with their threads and their posts, in their forums. Your login from therogueforums.com will work on all of our network sites, starting with wetalknation.net, our main site, (a few others) omgboards.com, wetalk.tv, thenewtech.com, vbfans.com, wetalkgames.net, wetalkmusic.net, etc. Browse around, login, update your profile, and feel free to ask us any questions if you need information or help.

Within a week we will upgrade all the TRF premium members to a WTN (wetalk.network) premium membership.

Also, every TRF member with 100+ posts will be upgraded to a WTN premium membership as well in the next few days.
