1. SITE NEWS

If you haven't visited vBulletin-Fans.com in a while, then you have missed much! We have undergone a major reorganization. Categories have been moved, created and deleted to create the best possible posting experience for you. We have new additions to the staff to help bring vBFans into the new year with fresh thoughts and new ideas. In the coming months each part of the vBFans Network will get the same uplifting treatment -- next in line is vBulletin-Styles.com.
We have also combined aspects of all of the vBulletin sites into one. While each site on the network will yield different forums, some forums are 'global forums' and are shared. For example, the off topic forums and the announcements forums are the exact same on every site. And now you only need to keep track of a single log in that will work for the entire network.

2. HOLIDAY COMPETITION
=======================================
To blast vBFans into the new year, we have put together an amazing competition. To enter the competition all you need to do is write an article of any length on some aspect of running a community or using vBulletin. This leaves the topic of your article largely up to you. Some topics of interest may include: tutorials, articles or interviews. We are open to many many subjects, and if you're not sure if a subject is acceptable for this competition then you simply post it anyway, we will accept it.
We are open to all submissions immediately, and we will stop accepting submission on December 31st. After the deadline, the vBFans Staff will choose the articles we like best. A member vote will then decide the three best articles out of those finalists and the authors will be awarded the prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The prizes are fantastic -- a complete webmaster tool belt for any winner. Submit an article and we can reward you with various prizes worth over $2,000, with licenses to vBulletin, vBSEO, DeskPRO, ArticleLive, SubDreamer, Photoplog and more!

3. PROSTYLE
=======================================
The award-winning Profession Style Package for vBulletin has been updated for use with vBulletin 3.6.
Updates include:
* Uses the latest templates from vBulletin version 3.6.4
* The design of the postbit and postbit_legacy templates updated a bit
* Uses the latest 3.6.4 templates for optimal performance
* vBulletin-Fans design of the postbit and postbit_legacy templates
* Design bug fixes from the 1.5 release
* Implemented and Improved the vBulletin-Fans revamped reputation system (Karma)

4. MARKETPLACE

We have opened the Marketplace forums for users who wish to sell or advertise vBulletin related services and products. While we are continually working on ways to improve the Marketplace -- you can already go ahead and post your own thread. By purchasing a Marketplace Membership you can post unlimited threads for the duration of the subscription (1 month for $4 or 1 year for $16). You can also purchase the Premium Membership package for $32 that will give you 4 years of unlimited marketplace posting as well as access to the ProStyle. 5. VBULLETIN RELEASES

Over the last few months Jelsoft has released various updates to their four branches and we recommend everybody to do a yearly security update check. Please visit this thread for details:

Latest stable releases, if you run any of these, upgrade to the latest version. And if you don't run 3.6 yet, please upgrade to 3.6.4 - it really is the best version out there!
